Grasshopper 226v or 124 - no shock - fab deck - very massive chassis. Ferris is700z - shock. Deere z540r - stamp deck. Snapper ztx550 - fab deck. WebNov 5, 2013 · I have a 2011 Ferris 3100, 72", 32hp. Bought it at the end of 2011. I currently have approximately 740 hrs on it. Runs strong, rides great, & mows great. Changed hydro belt around 536 hrs & still have the original deck belt on. This being my 2nd season on the mower, the "little" things have been showing up.

I was a dealer, but that was 12 years ago since I retired from that. I would call the factory and talk to someone there to get all your questions answered. Those folks at the factory are really helpful.
