WebSep 1, 2024 · I'm trying to control a 4 wire servo that was used in an RC car for the steering. It has two power connections, but I can't make sense of the other ones. If there is power on the red and black wires, the motor turns into one position and stays there, no matter what I put on the other wires. I also tried to vary the voltage of the power, no ... WebMay 29, 2013 · Often it's a dirty feedback pot. If your servo is operating smoothly but seems to just jump from it's neutral position like this then it might be that the feedback pot retention screws or glue dabs have become loose. It might be just a case of undoing the screws and checking to see if the feedback pot is loose and if it can be tightened up again.
